A Busy, Fast and Fun Week!

Wow Elder Kim and I have been TEARIN' it up lately! We had the absolute best week of my Anaheim mission in terms of numbers. We for sure surpassed the record for most investigators at church, most lessons, and most new investigators. Such a good week, but just as Ammon says in Alma, "I dont boast in myself... I boast in my God." The Lord is blessing us here and I have truly seen his hand in the work this past week. Looking back on this week I feel great. It was so busy, so fast, and so fun. I love being busy. I love teaching lessons. We taught so many lessons this week. I feel like my teaching is becoming so much better. Elder Kim and I work so well together, too. We seriously have some crazy good chemistry. The branch is noticing it too. Every member was praising us today because of all the new faces we got to church. They are all so excited for the missionary work that is going on. Elder Kim and I even got a shout-out today over the pulpit. Brother Ying thanked God in the sacrament benediction for sending Elder Kim and I to the Yale branch. Right now things are looking pretty good. The members are treating all our investigators so well. I actually feel like I’m good friends with all of my investigators. I never really had this feeling while I was in Taiwan. It’s hard to explain but I just feel a tighter connection with all these people. Probably because my Chinese has improved so much more and I can connect to them better now. It was so cool today at church because we had 3 UCI students there (all progressing investigators) who just participated in the lessons so well. Whenever the Sunday school teacher would ask someone to read, pray, or do anything they were always the first ones to raise their hands to do whatever the thing was. These people are getting involved - love it. Oh yeah and Sister Guo has officially selected her date to be baptized! It’s not a secret anymore. She has decided March 27th. I am so excited! I have been waiting for her to get baptized since December. It was been a long time and many lessons taught to her... the time has finally come - so great. She was so excited today, telling everyone to attend her baptism. Great times in the Yale branch. This branch is awesome. The members are amazing. I want to help it grow so badly. The members keep telling me that they're so grateful for me and Elder Kim's hard work. These members really care about their branch so much and want to see it grow, too. I think March will be the start of that growth.
