Watch out CA - Jeremy's now "the driver"!

We had transfers this week. It turned out the 3 of us are staying together (me, Elder Ellis, and Elder Kim). However, the only change is I’m now the driver. So now I'll actually have to stay awake while in the car. Anyways, yesterday was a good day. We received a referral from the Salt Lake headquarters, which turned out to be amazing. It’s this way awesome family from Taiwan that was on vacation in Utah and decided to visit temple square. They live in this extremely nice gated community. We were somehow lucky enough to get past the guard and talk to them. They were extremely friendly and shocked to hear me speak Taiwanese. We have plans to teach them this week. Dennis (Levi’s roommate) actually came to church today. He was dressed so nice. He wore a suit and everything. He literally looked like a member the way he was dressed. We were shocked to see him like that. He loved church. We had him meet and sit next to Simon (other college student investigator) and they just hit it off. They’re like best friends now. Love it. We had 6 investigators at church today: Dennis, Simon, Sister Yang, Brother Sun, the Ruan family (husband, wife, and 3 year old daughter) and all of these investigators are so solid. Brother Sun comes to sacrament meeting every week (probably his 12th time today). Sister Yang came to church for her 4th time today and is progressing well. She actually attended the stake cooking party last night too. Everyone thought she was already member (not yet but that will change soon). Dennis and Simon totally enjoyed church together. Oh and then Bro. Chamberlain is amazing... he got Dennis an internship at his office. So cool. Simon was once again super outgoing. All the members love Simon. I hope we can teach him more this week. He would be a great addition to the branch. He always offers to say the prayer in Sunday School. Then there was the Ruan family. They were so into church. Our branch members just swarmed them like crazy. Everyone calls Sister Ruan the "movie star girl." Honestly she does look like a movie star. She even signed up to have us missionaries over for dinner. They were passing the dinner sign up sheet in relief society and she just took a time slot to have us over (first investigator to ever do that). I’m excited because the Ruans live in a super nice house and she’s supposedly a very good cook. I really would love to see this family join the branch… we had a great "pho" (fuh) dinner with the Paiges (his sister is [Winter Francia] from the NC ward). The Paiges are a real fun family. We talked about NC and Wilton a lot, which was fun.
