Week 2 in the OC

Well, another beautiful day here in Orange County. Today was actually the nicest day thus far. We drove with the windows down all day. The weather here is amazing. We spent most of the day helping this new family move into their home. It's the Ke family and they are from Sandy, Utah. Brother and sister Ke are both originally come from Taiwan. It was fun talking about Taiwan with them and speaking a little Taiwanese. They loved that. It actually took a very long time to move them in, however, afterwards it was awesome because they took us out to eat at this very good/nice/expensive restaraunt. We ate at this place called Capital Grill (it's like a mostly seafood place but has everything and everyone there speaks Chinese). We had so so so much to eat there, the food just kept coming and coming. It was really fun eating there and talking with them. Brother and sister Ke will add so much to this branch. Sister Ke served a mission and brother Ke has a strong testimony and really wants to help us missionaries teach investigators. They also have the cutest daughter. Tonight was fun. It was another night of teaching English. I enjoy teaching English with the Korean elders. One really cool thing about this mission is that I see other missionaries basically everyday. Back in Taiwan you never ever saw other missionaries on the street or at church. It's really cool being here and having so many other elders to serve around and see on a regular basis. Teaching English was a lot of fun. I actually just tutored this older woman from China, sister Guo. Sister Guo is such a funny woman. Her daughter and son-in-law are both members in the branch (her son-in-law makes her go to English class every week). She comes to church every week but also goes to her friends Chinese church. She has a strong testimony. I think I have mentioned her before. She always reads the Book of Mormon and believes in God and Christ. She basically gave us an ultimatum. She told us by the end of the month she will either join our church or her friend's church. It will be interesting to see what goes down. She is such an awesome woman and loves us missionaries. I pray this spirit will touch her and allow her to know this is the true church. She's probably one of my favorite people I have met so far. I would love more than anything to see her be baptized. Time will tell.
