Christmas Zone Conference

Wow, today was seriously a great day! No joke, one of the best days so far. Zone conference was very uplifting and so spiritual. The whole conference was based around Christmas, however President Watrous found many ways to connect Joseph Smith into this Christmas season. We had a terrific Christmas program in which every missionary participated. I personally sang in a group for my part. We sang silent night. We just replayed the Christmas story and Joseph Smith's first vision. We had a great lunch provided by local members and then had a testimony meeting in the chapel. Since I am "new" I had to get up with all the other new missionaries to share my testimony/introduce myself. President Watrous wanted me to talk about how I was previously serving in Taiwan. That went well. The spirit was very strong. The departing missionaries who are leaving in the next 2 months shared their testimonies as well. It really made me realize this time in the mission field is actually very short. I really need to take advantage of everyday because the time is flying by. President Watrous told me that my branch president, President Beyers, called him to tell him how happy he is to have me in his Chinese branch. President Watrous' exact words of what President Beyers said were, "he told me you are a power house missionary." I seriously love President Beyers so much. He is one of the coolest guys I have ever met. So stoked to serve in his branch. After zone conference we had a great session of English class. We had 5 new students at class. These students were great and very willing to learn. We'll definitely see them again. Oh man, I forgot to mention the awesome family of 4 we added as investigators. So great. Today we actually added 6 people to come to church this Sunday. So exciting.
